Partners With a Purpose

You may be wondering, "How am I protecting fish and my favorite sport by purchasing GreenFish gear?"

Well, besides building awareness about the concept of catch and release and sustainable fishing, you're also contributing to many non-profit groups who care about the same issues as you.

Right off the top, a full 1% of all sales (not simply profits) goes to a group called 1% For The Planet. For this initiative, we look for organizations that are pro-fishing and pro-conservation which are part of the 1% For The Planet family to make donations to. When donations are made we will update our News page with details.

In addition, GreenFish partners with various companies and organizations that we support financially as well as philosophically. Through the "GreenFish Gives" program, each time you buy a product from us you can select one of our partner organizations where you would like a portion of your purchase to be donated. GreenFish then makes a quarterly donation to each of these groups who support our mission. All GreenFish partners share common values: to encourage sustainable fishing as a means of protecting fisheries and the environment while also promoting the sport of recreational fishing. We are very proud of this revolutionary new program that allows us to strategically align ourselves with a limited number of non-profit organizations in order to help them achieve their goals.

GreenFish is always interested in meeting with new corporate and non-profit partners. If you would like to be part of the GreenFish partner program, please contact us.

Recycled Fish

Recycled Fish is the national non-profit organization of "anglers living a Lifestyle of Stewardship both on and off the water, because Our Lifestyle Runs Downstream."

We started out talking about Catch and Release, but it's bigger than that now. If we want to catch more and bigger fish today and leave healthy waters for our grandkids, it takes living a Lifestyle of Stewardship both on and off the water.

On the water, we promote the S.A.F.E. Angling concept "Sustaining Angling, Fish and Ecosystems." It's the practices and products we can use to live as stewards when we're on the water. It's non-toxic and biodegradable tackle, single barbless hooks, and it's cleaning up trash when we find it. It's not just Catch and Release, Selective Harvest is part of living as a steward on the water, too.
